The King’s Frozen Laugh (Game Prototype)

The King's Froozen Laugh
Our game jam competition team (Team Kraken Hunters) entered for the first time on Global Game Jam, and in the 2024 edition, the theme was: Make me laugh, theme considered pretty hard by our team.

After we think and talk for one entire day we decided to move forward with a Action / Minigames game based in a Jester playing minigames to make a king laughs.
This game represented a new challenge to us, because we never made nothing like this before.

Other stuff pretty much new for us was work totally remote, and for me in special this was a good challenge, because this are being common on the industry and I always was a strong leader staying in person, but never tested myself on remote projects.
Without a natural artist in our team, me an Leo take the responsability to make the assets and beside our very small talent on graphic arts, we did the job and the arts worked properly.

In my new experience as project manager, I started to use another tool as a task manager (monday.com) and stablish some standards for our execution.
I also enjoyed the new challenge to test new sources and tools, discovering a very useful ones.

About the result? One more time we had a really good product, working properly, aligned to the theme and delivered on time.

I am proud of my team, everybody did their tasks and contributed as expected to the project.
